Among the highlights of this exciting district are the Boonsamakan Vegetarian Hall, a peaceful old temple housing beautiful Chinese woodcarving; the Kun Do Shrine; the Talaad Kao or Old Market, where Chinese merchants ply their various trades; and the remarkable Wat Mangkon Kamalawat or “dragon flower temple.”
