Highlight

Tian’anmen Square is a sight to behold, but more so on mornings, when 96 guards raise the flag in just 2 minutes and 7 seconds - the same amount of time it takes for the sun to rise above the horizon. Not to be missed are the 56 poles in the balustrade around the flag’s base, which symbolize the 56 different ethnic nationalities within China’s borders.
