Weird , wonderful, and with a general disdain for rules and themes, the Doo Dah Parade is a spectacle every January 18 that kicks off in the Old Town and concludes in Colorado Boulevard. Starting out in 1976 as a spoof of the Tournament of Roses, this colorful parade showcases the Doo Dah Queen, the Synchronised Precision Briefcase Marching Drill Team, the Marching Martian Nannies, the West Hollywood Cheerleaders, and other acts. It is—p and fittingly so, organized by the Unorganisers Unofficial Committee.
