Location. The Westin St. Francis is centrally located on Union Square, with a cable car stop at the front door. A landmark since 1904, this hotel is four blocks from Nob Hill and seven blocks from the Moscone Convention Center. North Beach and Chinatown are within two miles of this hotel. Hotel Features.
